Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Rasham. Rasham is a Pakistani food-based restaurant that specializes in Halal and ethnic dishes in the heart of South Windsor,CT. We partner with local vendors to host community-led events during religious holidays and foster a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to tables while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Buss tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations by following sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
