Job Overview
A globally recognised research-focused university is seeking an experienced Regional Manager (Student Recruitment) to support its international expansion across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, increasing international student enrolments, building relationships with education partners, and strengthening the university’s presence across key regional markets.
This is a strategic position for an experienced recruitment or international education professional who can combine market knowledge, relationship management, business development, and data-driven decision-making to achieve student recruitment goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement student recruitment strategies for selected MENA markets.
- Work towards regional enrolment and student recruitment targets.
- Research market trends and use data to identify new recruitment opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with schools, universities, education agents, government organisations, sponsors, and scholarship providers.
- Identify and develop new institutional and commercial partnerships.
- Manage relationships and performance with international education agents.
- Represent the university at education fairs, recruitment events, school visits, and other promotional activities.
- Organise and support recruitment campaigns and regional engagement initiatives.
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations to university leadership.
- Monitor recruitment results and prepare regular performance reports.
- Manage regional recruitment budgets and ensure resources are used effectively.
- Work with academic and professional teams to support the university’s internationalisation objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to improve international student recruitment and engagement.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal applicant should have a degree or equivalent professional experience in international student recruitment, education, business development, or a related field.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience achieving student recruitment or business development targets.
- Knowledge of international education markets and recruitment practices.
- Experience working with education agents and institutional partners.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Language Requirements
Strong English communication skills are essential. Candidates should have IELTS 6.5 or an equivalent level of English proficiency.
Arabic language skills are highly desirable because of the role’s focus on MENA markets.
Location & Travel
The successful candidate must be based in Dubai, UAE and should be comfortable travelling extensively throughout the MENA region and internationally when required.
Flexibility is important, as the position may involve recruitment events, university visits, meetings with partners, and other international engagement activities.
